Who is the Odd Squad?
The Odd Squad is a collection of sports and games event experts. Is that a real thing? Maybe. Probably. We’re owning it. Here’s some of the cool stuff that we’ve done over the years: piloted daily tournaments on cruise ships across the U.S. and Australia, worked with Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza, executed national tournaments, brought social sports leagues to a dozen different cities, opened our own wedding venue, and somehow along the way managed to have real jobs that are entirely devoted to having a good time.

+ Are you Covid-safe?
Yes. We can offer contact-free delivery and pickup. We clean and sanitize games and our drivers are masked and vaxxed. We do our part and we hope that you do too.
+ What comes in a rental package?
All packages start with the games, supporting equipment (like ping pong paddles for a ping pong table), delivery, setup, and pickup. Adding a member of our Odd Squad to help coordinate is always an option too. Just let us know what you want, when you want it, and where the event will be and we'll work with you.
+ How does delivery work?
Delivery is included within Chicago limits for all games and packages. We'll service suburbs for a little extra, and neighboring cities and states for a little extra on top of the little extra. All deliveries include professional setup and strike. We recommend games be set up at least an hour before an event starts and picked up within the final hour.
Rest assured, our driver will be (1) on time, (2) helpful, (3) able to explain the game rules.
+ What games do you have?
A lot. In addition to the basic packages we have Kubb, Kan Jam, Spikeball, Foosball, Darts, Croquet, Street Curling, Pip Fall, Bru Bags, Wiffle Ball, and others. If you don't see what you're looking for, just ask!
+ Can you customize games?
Actually, yes. Our custom options are locally made and handcrafted by our partners in the wood shop at Guild Row. Our custom-made options make wonderful wedding gifts. Just remember to give us some advanced notice as they are all made by hand. You'll absolutely get to keep the games if we customize them for you!
+ It's been a while -- what if me or my guests have forgotten the rules?
Check the QR codes on the games for quick funstructional videos, or if you want to make this thing official we can provide Odd Squad staffing for tournament coordination, demonstrations, and hands-on learning. Want to bring in the experts?
+ Do you have a dedicated location for Oddball Entertainment?
All that and then some. We have an event venue in Chicago that hosts hundreds of weddings, corporate, and community events a year. We also have a lengthy list of preferred venue partners across the country. Most of our Oddball programs and activations rely on a unique, portable, pop-up solution that can be brought just about anywhere.
+ Can we book you for corporate and private events outside of Chicago?
Absolutely. We don’t have equipment and staff in every town, but we do have a network of trained ambassadors who love to travel. Oddball event costs do tend to run higher in areas without Oddball equipment, but don’t let that stop us from exploring an opportunity for you.
+ Is Oddball Entertainment youth-friendly?
Our game rentals can be enjoyed by all ages. Our public events and activations do tend to focus on more adult leisure and social sport environments but every situation is different so don't be afraid to ask.
